Napoli forward Victor Osimhen missed training on Wednesday due to illness as the Partenopei step up preparations for their next Serie A clash against Inter Milan, according to reports.
Luciano Spallettiโs side already won the title but will only play for pride when they host the Nerazzurri at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Sunday.
Napoli confirmed Osimhenโs health status on their official website.
โVictor Osimhen missed training due to the flu, while Mario Rui trained individually on the pitch,โ reads the statement.
Napoli will hope Osimhen recover in time for the game.
The 24-year-old has scored 23 goals in 29 league matches this season.
Napoli lost 2-0 to Monza in their last league game.
