Ohimegye-Igu Koton-Karfe, HRM, Saidu Akawu Visits Late Imam Abubakar Gegu’s Family

The Ohimege Igu of Koton-Karfe, HRM Alhaji Saidu Akawu Salihu has described the death of Imam Abubakar Umar Gegu as a great loss to the Kingdom.

The Ohimegye-Igu who made statement during the 3 day Fidau prayers of the deceased, described the passing away of the patriarch as a loss to Igu- kingdom.

The Traditional Ruler described the deceased as a man known to have avanced the course of peace , development and unity of the kingdom and expressed deep sadness over the news of the passing away of Imam Abubakar.

The Ohimegye particularly condoled with Engr. Bashiru Gegu and urged him to be consoled by the legacies of impact his father left behind.

“My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time as we mourn the loss of the late beloved patriarch”.

“Imam Abubakar Umar was a great icon of Gegu-Beki, known for his wisdom, kindness, and dedication to his faith and community. His legacies will live on through the many lives he has touched and the values he instilled in others. May God grant his soul rest in peace”.

“I ask God to grant the family he left behind the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. May they find comfort in the memories of Imam Abubakar Umar and may God ease their pain during this time of grief. My thoughts and prayers are with all the family members as they navigate through this challenging period.
Once again, rest in peace Imam”.
