Obi: Fuel subsidy is organized crime, I’ll remove it

The Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi has described fuel subsidy in Nigeria as an organized crime.

Obi vowed to remove fuel subsidy if elected president next month.

In a tweet, the former Anambra State governor lamented that the Federal government allocated more funds to fuel subsidy than education.

He also vowed to end the confusion in the Ports Administration in Nigeria.

According to Obi, we would get Nigeria to work again.

He wrote: “We are going to dismantle the confusion in the Ports Administration and get this country to work.

“Fuel subsidy is an organized crime and I will remove it immediately if I am elected President.

“Which reasonable country will spend more on subsidy than education, health etc. – PO”
