The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced September 30 for the commencement of the 2026 Batch ‘C’ orientation course.
A statement issued by the Director, Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, on Tuesday, informed the general public and especially the prospective Corps members that the 2026 Batch ‘C’ Stream One Orientation Course will commence on Wednesday, 30th September, and end on Tuesday, 20th October, 2026.
While the registration of all Corps members will begin on Wednesday, 30th September, and end on Friday, 2nd October, 2026, the swearing-in ceremony is to be held on Friday, 2nd October, 2026.
According to the statement, the three-week exercise is scheduled to take place in all 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The Director General of NYSC, Brigadier Olakunle Nafiu, wished all the prospective Corps members and Course officials safe trips to their respective orientation camps.
He also enjoins the prospective Corps members to avoid night travel and board vehicles at designated motor parks.
