The Grassroot Independent campaign council of the All Progressive Congress in Kogi State has said that there is no alternative for the state to have it’s fare share of the national cake than the Tinubu/Shettima Presidency.
Dr. Sanusi Abubakar, Kogi State Coordinator, Tinubu/shettima Grassroots Independent Campaign Council (ICC) stated this on Saturday on the Occasion of The Formal Inauguration Of the State Structure.
According to him,” I am not supporting Tnubu/Shetima presidency for my selfish interest but withe realisation of the fact that it’s the only way by which Kogi would have it’s fare share of what rightly belongs to her”.
He said that Tinubu/Shettima Presidency as an idea whose time has come remains the best available option for our country at the moment.
Dr. Sanusi described the inauguration of Zonal, Federal Constituency, Local Government Coordinators, Directors and members of the campaign Directorates as fundamental in several dimensions, pointing out that it is the implementation arm of the campaign and the vehicle that will convey the message of renewed hope to the people, particularly, the silent majority at the grassroots.
The Kogi State Coordinator ICC said the formal inauguration of the Coordinators marks the commencement of a full blown grassroots mobilization process and door to door engagements, appealed to Inaugurated members to quickly devise strategies that would best deliver the votes for the APC Presidential Flagbearer.
“We feel honoured, and it is a privilege to be given the opportunity to be part of this innovative campaign and the responsibility of taking the message of renewed hope to our people at the grassroots.
Dr. Sanusi described the ICC as subordinates and messengers of the PCC, said it is set up to help deliver the gospel of renewed hope to the people at the grassroots.
” ICC is a platform that interfaces with the people at the grassroot level in a direct engagement, from door to door on the need to support the Presidential Flagbearer, urged members to work to overcome perceived obstacles and challenges against the collective interest and goal of winning the forth-coming election.” He noted
While pointing out that the ICC has devised innovative strategies and solutions packaged in models that addresses the challenging realities of today’s campaign for Kogi State, he urged the Inaugurated members to hit the ground running through wide massive grassroots mobilization campaign.
Dr. Sanusi explained that ICC has constituted a network of grassroots based volunteers, campaign leaders and polling unit committees for the purpose of mobilization, urged members to work for all APC candidates in the forthcoming general election.
The inauguration of the structures of Tinubu/Shettima Grassroots Independent Campaign Council (ICC) in Kogi State, Dr. Sanusi notes has signalled the deepening of a very important national assignment considered himself and other members lucky to lead the process, congratulated all those Inaugurated, assured of his absolute commitment to the course of the Campaign.
He said that implementing strategies by ICC developed towards ensuring effective and efficient execution of campaign mandate.
Dr. Sanusi tasked the Zonal and Local Government Coordinators, members of the various Directorates, to be prepared to make sacrifices, ensure best behaviours at all times and sectors.
