Kebbi State Ministry For Higher Education has organized a 3 Day Training Workshop for Management of Tertiary Institutions in the state on Leadership and Management- Repositioning of Tertiary Institutions in kebbi State for Better and Sustainable Development.
The workshop which declared open this Wednesday by State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu represented by Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Babale Umar Yauri, mni was aimed at enhancing participants’ competence in respective schedules as well as enabling each to put on strategies and skills lending to efficiency and improved performance.
The workshop which was held at the Presidential Banquet Hall, Birnin Kebbi, featured the presentation of two papers. The first paper was dwelled by Vice Chancellor of Federal University, Birnin Kebbi, Prof. B. B. Shehu on University Administrations in Challenging Times: The Way Forward while, the second paper was drilled on Transformation of Tertiary institutions in Kebbi State: The Role of Ministry for Higher Education by Prof. Muktar Umar Bunza from Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto.
The event was graced by Senator Muhammadu Magoro as the Chairman of the occasion, Acting Head of Service, Alhaji Sufiyanu Garba Bena, Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries, Directors as well as the students from College of Nursing Science, Birnin Kebbi among others.
