Their head coach, Mohammed Babaganaru, was in charge of Lobi Stars last season and knows them inside out.
Lobi Stars defeated Gombe United 2-1 when both teams met in the same fixture last season.
Lobi Stars will be without John Lazarus, Solomon Kwambe and Mohammed Rabiu for the game.
