Kogi People restates commitment to APC, Ododo victory at Ihima Rally

Ihima was agog on Wednesday, as the All Progressives Congress, (APC), stakeholders in Ihima shut down all entry and exit points in a rally in support of the party’s candidate in the November 11 gubernatorial election.

The rally, which was organised by Hon Fancy Women Support Group in collaboration with various interest groups under the coordination of the duo of Hon Hassana and Hon King Habib, saw the convergence of important personalities within the APC family in Okehi Local Government Area.

In his address, an APC stalwart, Comrade Yakubu Siyaka Adabenege, a.k.a Fancy, assured the people of the state that if given the opportunity, the party’s candidate, Alhaji Ododo Usman Ahmed would not betray their trust.

While restating the determination of Alhaji Ododo to sustain the cardinal objectives of the New Direction Agenda under Governor Yahaya Bello, Comrade Fancy also promised that the socioeconomic blueprint of Ododo would turn around the fortune of Kogi State for the better.

“Ododo Government will not leave any stones unturned in ensuring the socioeconomic, and infrastructural development of Kogi State under his watch. This, he has promised he will do, while also ensuring the sustenance of the GYB legacy because the current administration has performed exceptionally in all facets of endeavour,” Comrade Fancy added.

Other speakers at the event further voiced their commitment towards ensuring overwhelming victory for the APC and appealed to voters across the state to mobilise friends, associates and neighbours to ensure smooth victory for the party in the November 11 election.

Comrade Fancy was flanked at the event by his wife, Hajiya Onize, the Adavi/Okehi Apc House of Representatives candidate in the last election, Hon Idris Ozo Shaibu, Engr. Muhammed Ibrahim, APC Chairman in the Central Senatorial District, and other prominent members of the party’s executive.
