Kogi NUJ promises to work for the unity of journalists in the state

The chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Kogi state council, Alhaji Momohjimoh Adeiza has promised to continue to work for the unity of working journalists in the state.

The chairman who stated this when he hosted journalists and elders of the council to a sallah reception, thanked all media practitioners in the state, for their steadfastness and support in the last one year.

He called on them to continue to uphold the ethics of the profession by being object, professional and ensure that they report the truth at all times.

He commended the state government for ensuring security of lives and property, which he said has allowed journalists to carry on their duty.

“I will continue to ensure the unity of all of use. I believe that is the only way we can achieved the best for our members.

” In addition to the physical projects across the state, I want to commend the state government for ensuring the security of lives and property of the citizens.

“Let me congratulate you for the successful celebrations of the Sallah festival.

” we must continue to pray for the unity of the people of kogi state and Nigeria as a whole.

The elders of the council, Mr. Tims Ejiga, Mathias Omale, Alhaji Ali Atabor the immediate past council chairman and the Zonal secretary, Abdul Aji in their various speeches lauded the chairman for the initiative, saying that he must continue to sustain the trend
