‘I had only one positive relationship, but he passed away’: Tiwa Savage opens up on the man she loves

Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter Tiwa Savage has sparked conversations online after opening up about her love life during a recent interview.

The 45-year-old mother of one appeared as a guest on an interview hosted by media personality Korty, where she spoke candidly about her past relationships and emotional experiences.

During the conversation, Tiwa Savage admitted that she has not been fortunate in love, revealing that most of her past relationships ended on a negative note.

She explained that she often found herself reducing her own needs and playing the role of a people-pleaser in her relationships, a pattern she said contributed to repeated disappointments.

The award-winning singer also surprised many when she disclosed that she would be open to becoming a second wife, suggesting that her perspective on relationships has evolved over time.

At first, Tiwa stated that she had never experienced a positive relationship. However, she later clarified that there was one relationship she considered truly positive, but sadly, the person involved is now deceased.

Her revelation has reignited discussions around her alleged past relationship with the late Obama DMW, also known as 44, who was Davido’s former road manager. Obama DMW passed away on June 29, 2021, after reportedly experiencing breathing difficulties and was pronounced dead at a hospital in Lekki, Lagos.

Obama DMW was survived by a son, Abdulmalik Uthman, who was later adopted by Davido and has since graduated with an engineering degree from Adeleke University.
