Former Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna has hailed Arsenal-bound winger, Mykhailo Mudryk.
It is only a matter of time before Arsenal announces the deal for Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk.
The winger is Mikel Arteta’s top January transfer target with the north London side submitting two offers in recent weeks.
Mudryk is desperate to join Arsenal with reports suggesting the player has already verbally agreed to a five-year deal.
“He’ll be joining the club,” Sagna told Lord Ping.
“I first saw him in 2020, when he wasn’t involved with the Shakhtar first team – I think it was a Ukrainian under 20’s game.
“I liked the way he played. He has great agility and you can definitely tell he is a good player. Technically, he is very good and his speed is scary – it is like he can fly. He is that quick with the ball.”
