Less than 66 days to the 2023 poll, a former Prelate of the Methodist Church Nigeria, His Eminence, Dr. Sunday Mbang on Tuesday prayed for the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
The former Anambra Governor met with His Eminence in Akwa Ibom State on Monday ahead of the Labour Party presidential campaign rally in the state.
Obi in a tweet on his verified handle thanked the former Prelate for his prayers and counsel during the meeting.
He wrote, “Visiting His Eminence, Dr Sunday Mbang CON, in Akwa Ibom. Grateful for the wise counsel and prayers”.
Earlier, the Labour Party candidate was in a town hall meeting with some youths where he said Aso rock is not a retirement home charging them to take their destinies into their hands.
