Enugu Air to Launch Direct Enugu–Douala Flights Sept. 23

‎Enugu Air will launch direct international flights between Enugu, Nigeria, and Douala, Cameroon, on Wednesday, September 23, as part of efforts to strengthen regional air connectivity.

‎The airline’s Chief Operating Officer, Mr Ugonna Agubuokwu, announced the development in a statement issued on Sunday in Lagos.

‎

‎Agubuokwu said the Enugu-Douala service would operate twice weekly, on Mondays and Wednesdays, providing easier travel for businesses, families and other passengers between Nigeria and Cameroon.

‎

‎According to him, passengers travelling from Lagos and Abuja will also be able to connect to Douala through Enugu.

‎

‎“This is more than the introduction of a new route. It is about creating stronger connections between Nigeria and Cameroon,” Agubuokwu said.

‎

‎Under the schedule, flights will depart Enugu at 12:45 p.m. and arrive in Douala at 1:45 p.m. Return flights will leave Douala at 2:30 p.m. and arrive in Enugu at 3:30 p.m.

‎

‎Agubuokwu said the timetable was designed to provide convenient connections for passengers travelling from Lagos and Abuja.
