Emeritus Professor of Geography at Bayero University Kano (BUK), Emmanuel Ajayi Olofin, is dead.
The deceased, who hailed from Ijero in Ekiti state, died on Tuesday at the age of 80.
Before his death, Olofin lectured at the BUK Geography Department, where he rose through the ranks.
