The Permanent Secretary of the Kogi State Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Zainab Obadaki, has been commended for her outstanding contributions to public service and professional excellence as Christians celebrate the Easter season.
In an Easter goodwill message, a journalist and public affairs analyst, Ibrahim Obansa, described Obadaki as a seasoned Registered Estate Surveyor and Valuer whose impact has significantly advanced housing and urban development in Kogi State.
He noted that Easter, a season symbolizing renewal, hope, and sacrifice, provides an opportunity to reflect on Obadaki’s dedication to service, professionalism, and commitment to excellence in the discharge of her duties.
According to him, Obadaki’s humanitarian disposition and love for humanity have endeared her to many, adding that her life of service reflects the core values of the Easter celebration—selflessness, compassion, and faith.
“Her remarkable contributions to the development of Kogi State, coupled with her unwavering dedication, stand as a shining example in public service,” he said.
Obansa further highlighted her strong Christian faith and commitment to serving both God and humanity, describing her as a role model whose legacy will continue to inspire younger professionals in the built environment sector.
As Obadaki prepares to retire from the civil service, he expressed optimism that her wealth of experience and institutional knowledge will be greatly missed, while wishing her continued grace, strength, and fulfillment in her future endeavours.
