Atiku Criticizes Tinubu’s Alleged Disregard for Transparency

The 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has accused President Bola Tinubuโ€™s government of having a track record of ignoring transparency issues

Atiku said Tinubuโ€™s government ignores issues of due process in public administration.

Posting on X, the former Vice President said the unresolved $3.3 billion NNPCL loan is an attestation to the corrupt issues with Tinubuโ€™s administration.

According to Atiku: โ€œThe current federal government has a disgraceful track record of ignoring issues of transparency and due process in public administration.

โ€œThe unresolved $3.3 billion NNPCL loan repayment scandal, with Nigeria now expected to repay $12 billion, remains a glaring example.

โ€œThe Tinubu administration must address these high-profile corruption cases transparently

โ€œThe National Assembly, as the elected representatives of the people, are constitutionally obligated to legislate for the peace, order, and good governance of our nation, without colluding with corrupt elements.

โ€œFailure to do so and persisting in denial will only confirm the governmentโ€™s complicity in official malpractice.-AAโ€
