Asiwaju a true representation of all genuine democrats; Gamji Coalition for Asiwaju

The Gamji Coalition for Asiwaju’s presidency in the 2023 general election has said that the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, (APC), Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu represents all true democrats in Nigeria and beyond.

In a statement issued by the chairman and secretary of the coalition, Hon Muhammad Sule (Sunday sea) and Comrade Onusi Abdullateef respectively, the group said Asiwaju was the rallying point for the struggle for Democratic governance in the country.

He was the arrow-head of those who fought for the termination of military rule in the country, thereby restoring hope in the citizens of a better country where there is equity, fairness and progressive.

The group maintained that as a Progressive, Tinubu was able to position Lagos for development and progress during his 8 year rule as Governor of the state, adding that because of the solid foundation he has laid, Lagos has remain a reference point, not only in Nigeria, but Africa and beyond in terms of growth and development.

“We are therefore very confident that as president of Nigeria, Asiwaju Will reposition Nigeria on the part of progress, prosperity and greater efficiency.

“As someone who was in the forefront of the struggle for Democratic rule in Nigeria, he already knows what it takes to run a multi-ethnic nation like ours. He has all the credentials to run the affair of the country.

“His knowledge of economy, security, human capital and infrastructural development can not be questioned, haven served in the public and private sector.

“We are proud to say that we have a marketable product in Asiwaju. And we are confident of land slide victory for our candidate.

The group also expressed confidence in the capacity of the patron of the coalition, Alh. Sanusi Abubakar, (GAMJI), to successfully pilot the affairs of the group and ensure a victorious outing for Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu as president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2023
