This sum is intended as compensation for the destruction of their livelihoods and their forced eviction.

in a press conference held in abuja on monday, clo emphasized its duty to advocate democracy and governance issues, highlighting the plight of the samboro community in madaka district, rafi local government area of niger state.

the community was reportedly displaced following the construction of the zungeru hydro-electric power dam, awarded to a consortium of chinese firms by the federal ministry of mines and power.
