Zamfara Police Commissioner leads patrol teams to Gusau, Tsafe- Funtua road

The Zamfara State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Kolo Yusuf says he has deployed more police operatives to some troubled areas of the state.

Yusuf said he led the patrol of the entire Gusau, Tsafe-Funtua road for assessment of the security challenges in the area to make adjustments to his programs against banditry activities in the state.

Reports that the Commissioner personally supervised some strategic points where additional Police tactical squads are ensuring the safety of travellers along the route.

In the course of the patrol, CP Yusuf mapped out some salient and strategic locations along the road which were instantly fortified with the deployment of Police tactical operatives drawn from the Police Mobile Force (PMF), Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU), and Anti – Violence Squad of the Command.

The Commissioner of Police assured the general public that Police in collaboration with sister Security Agencies will sustain the ongoing effort to restore normalcy in Zamfara State and tasked members of the public on active intelligence sharing with Law Enforcement Agencies for effective policing of the state.
