Zamfara deputy gov urges military to restore peace, tranquillity

Zamfara State’s deputy governor, Mani Mummuni, has tasked the military and other security personnel to redouble their efforts in tackling the insecurity situation ravaging the state.

Addressing newsmen in Gusau, the state capital, the deputy governor urged the military and other security operatives not to relent in their efforts to ensure the restoration of peace and tranquillity in the State.

“The residents cannot engage in their legitimate endeavours in an unsecured environment. There is therefore a need for a serious coordinated security network,” he stated.
