The Gamji Coalition for Asiwaju on Saturday held a Strategic meeting with leaders of various women groups in Kogi central, with the determination to carry along, the women in the area, saying women support in any election is very important.
Addressing the women in their numbers, the chairman of the coalition, Alhaji Muhammed Sule (Sunday SEA), appealed to the women to canvass for votes in their various Units, wards and local government areas for Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima presidency come 2023
The chairman who was represented by the Secretary General of the coalition, Comrade Onusi Abdullateef, informed the women of Alhaji Sanusi Abubakar’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of women in Kogi central.
Alhaji Sanusi Abubakar, Gamji is the chairman of Tinubu Support Group, (TSG), Kogi state and the grand patron of the Gamji Coalition for Asiwaju.
The group who have been working for the victory of Asiwaju/Shettima presidency come 2023, said they are going to engaged with women more in the days ahead.
The chairman charged them to work very hard to ensure victory, assuring that they will never regret working with Alhaji Sanusi Abubakar, who he said have been tested and trusted, adding that he is a man who has an effective reward system in place.
In his address to the women, Alhaji Haruna Ogunye, assured that all the needed logistics to enable the women deliver on their task would be made available to them.
He urged the women to be sincere and committed to the task of pulling units mobilization to guarantee overwhelming victory for Asiwaju and Shettima
Speaking also, Alhaji Bashiru Abubakar commended the women for turning out in their numbers despite the short notice, saying this singular act has shown their level of commitment to the project.
The women who took time to speak, assured the ground of their commitment to the success of the project.
They however expressed regret that they have been used and dumped in the past by some other politicians and appealed that such should be associated with this group.
“We are going to work for the success of this project. Please don’t forget us when it is good for you. We have suffered in the past, when politicians Will come for our assistance and as soon as they got what the want, they forgot us. I pray that your group will not be like that. They stressed.
