Wikki Tourists boss satisfied with players’ performance in friendlies

Wikki Tourists head coach Mohammed Azeez has expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance in their recent friendlies.

The Bauchi Elephants played a goalless draw against Gombe United and Doma United during their training tour in Gombe.

Azeez opined that the exercise gave him the opportunity to assess the players outside their home ground.

He however solicited for the support of the fans in their quest to secure promotion back to the Nigeria Premier Football League.

“I’m impressed with the performance of my players during the two-day tour in Gombe state,” he told the club’s media.

“It’s a big opportunity for us to assess the performance of the players away from home.”

Wikki Tourists will participate in the 2023-24 Nigeria National League.
