Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has debunked claims that there is a division within the ranks of G-5 governors.
The governor made the comments on Saturday while flagging off a road project in Ahoada East local government area of the state.
The governor also dismissed claims that the G5 governors were “playing God”.
He noted that they were only seeking for things to be done the right way.
The governor also said that the G5 governors remain strong, noting that they have done nothing wrong.
He said “they said we are playing God, play God for what?” we can never play God because we know the role God has played in our life.
“We have not done anything wrong. All we are saying is do things in a way that all of us will have a sense of belonging. This is what we want to achieve.
“God is still making G5 to be stronger and stronger. You said there will be division; that is your prayer; unfortunately that prayer has been on since May-June, it has never worked and it will never work in Jesus name.
“Just allow the sleeping dog to lie. If you don’t, you too will not sleep”.
“All we are saying is be grateful, don’t be treacherous in life because you want power. God will never give power to the wicked.”
