Why we lost to Sporting Lagos – Kano Pillars coach Maikaba

Kano Pillars technical adviser, Abdulahi Maikaba said that poor organisation was the reason his team lost to Sporting Lagos.

The Sai Masu Gida were defeated 3-0 in
the matchday seven fixture at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos.

It was Maikaba’s side fourth away defeat of the campaign.

Former Kano Pillars forward Junior Lokosa scored a brace against his former club.

Maikaba assured that he will work on his team’s lapses ahead of the next game.

“It’s a very poor first half as my boys were not organised which caused all the three goals we conceded,” he told newsmen after the game.

“In the second half we tried to organise things a little to manage the situation.

“We are going to prepare very well in the next game.”

Kano Pillars will take on Enyimba in a week eight fixture at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano, this weekend.
