Brentford manager, Thomas Frank has explained why his team defeated Liverpool 3-1 in the Premier League tie on Monday night.
Frank said that Brentford defeated Liverpool at the Gtech Community Stadium because of his players’ attitude, effort, hard work and togetherness.
The 49-year-old Danish gaffer watched The Bees defeat Jurgen Klopp’s side at home, thanks to goals from Ibrahima Konate (own-goal), Yoane Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain did score a goal for Liverpool against the host.
“What a night! I can’t praise the players enough, they are incredible.
“The attitude, effort, hard work and togetherness – everything they put together to beat a team like Liverpool,” Frank told BBC Sport.
