New Inter Miami signing, Sergio Busquets has suggested that his visit to Inter Miami Football Club last summer with Barcelona played a part in his decision to join the American club.
Busquet was officially unveiled as an Inter Miami player on Monday.
The veteran midfielder joined Inter Miami on a free transfer after running down his contract with Barcelona last month.
Speaking to Inter Miami’s media team for the first time, Busquets said: “This is a special and exciting opportunity that I am very excited to take.
“I was impressed by the Club when I came with Barcelona last year and now I am happy and ready to represent the Club myself.”
Busquets’s move to Miami sees him reunite with his former Barcelona teammate, Lionel Messi.
