Why I didn’t celebrate goal against Chelsea – Bruno Fernandes

Bruno Fernandes has revealed why he did not celebrate his goal during the Red Devils’ 4-1 victory over Chelsea on Thursday night.

The Portuguese played down issues with the Blues stars after his penalty during the win at Old Trafford.

According to Fernandes his lack of celebration was due to frustration, having missed a chance earlier in the game.

Erik Ten Hag’s side beat the Blues with goals from Casemiro, Anthony Martial, and Marcus Rashford. The win confirmed their place in next season’s Champions League.

Fernandes was asked by Sky Sports about the spat between the player after his goal. He was quick to play it down.

“Nothing. I was a little bit frustrated to not get my goal; I had a big chance that I had missed and I was a little bit frustrated. That’s it.”

The Red Devils can seal the 3rd place on the final day of the season by matching Newcastle United’s result when they face Fulham at Old Trafford.
