We’re not moved by rumoured opposition merger, APC governor boasts

The governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule has said that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) or its members are not moved by the rumours of possible merger by opposition parties.

Addressing several national issues on television on Thursday, January 9, the governor said the President Bola Tinubu’s administration has made key changes to impact the lives of citizens positively.

According to him, some of the policies of the present administration have long-term benefits that would favour the ordinary Nigerian.

While insisting that Nigerians are already experiencing the impact of Tinubu’s policies, Sule said Nigeria’s economy under the APC-led government is on a steady growth.

He restated that neither the APC nor the president is worried about the plans of the opposition ahead of the 2027 election.

The governor urged Nigerians to remain committed to supporting the present administration.

He also stated that the leadership of the party is not losing sleep over nocturnal meetings recently held by leaders of the opposition parties.
