The Kogi State government has emphasized the administration’s commitment to engaging with the people and receiving feedback on information disseminated to them.
The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo, made this known when he inspected the Kogi Government House Media Center, which houses the state-of-the-art facility, including Lugard TV and Media Trackers, established by Governor Alhaji Usman Ododo in Lokoja.
Hon. Fanwo highlighted the significance of Lugard TV and Media Trackers in sharing the historical story of the Late Lord Lugard, a prominent Colonial Governor General of Nigeria.
Hon. Fanwo expressed confidence in the media centre’s ability to effectively communicate the government’s initiatives and engage with the public, reflecting the administration’s commitment to transparency and inclusivity
He stressed the importance of the media centre in propagating government policies and programmes to the citizens, including those at the grassroots level, under the leadership of Governor Ododo.
He commended the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Ismaila Isah, for his dedication and leadership in overseeing the Kogi Government House Media Center operations, which has achieved significant developmental milestones.
The commissioner praised the high standards, quality and excellence team selected by Governor Ododo to operate the media centre while emphasizing that the structure and equipment meet the required standards for effective communication and dissemination of information.
