Vandrezzer FC protest referee’s conduct in Warri Wolves defeat

Vandrezzer FC have expressed disappointment over the conduct of the centre referee, Sunny Chibendu in their Nigeria National League (NNL) encounter against Warri Wolves on Sunday.

The Uyo-based team suffered a 1-0 defeat against their visitors at the Eket Stadium.

Vandrezzer said they are disappointed with the overall performance of the referee in the NNL Southern Conference B1 matchday 8 encounter.

The Lions were particularly sad the official denied them a clear penalty in the game.

Vandrezzer opined that the action of the centre referee has put a dent on the aspiration of the club for the season.

They appeal to the NFF referees’ committee to take appropriate measures to address this unfortunate incident and prevent its recurrence in the future.
