UN Ambassador, Austin Peacemaker congratulates JE Akwaraonwu, 6 others decorated with new rank of Major

United Nations Ambassador/ ECOWAS Youths Ambassador, Austin Peacemaker has congratulated newly decorated JE Akwaraonwu and 6 other Nigeria army officers decorated to their new rank of Major from Captain.

Peacemaker in a statement, charged the newly decorated officers to remain loyal to the President and constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He reminded them of the current security challenges and urged them to remain focused in their effort to ensure peace and security across the country.

He described their elevation as a recognition for their diligence and selfless sacrifices individually and collectively to the Nigerian Army.

The security expert reminded the promoted officers of the enormous responsibilities that come with their promotion, adding that the country will be relying on their wealth of knowledge, character and professionalism to develop an enduring panacea for peace and security in Nigeria.

Similarly, the UN Ambassador at the 3rd National Entertainment and Peace Summit in Abuja held in Bolingo Hotel to commemorate 2022 World Peace Day urge the youth to champion the efforts towards uniting Nigerians and ensuring a peaceful 2023 general elections.
