Uko quits Shooting Stars after two years

Anietie Uko have parted ways with Shooting Stars ahead of the 2023-24 Nigeria Professional Football League season.

The attacking midfielder joined the Oluyole Warriors in 2021.

Uko registered seven goals during his two-year stay with the Oluyole Warriors.

The player is rumoured to be negotiating a move to another NPFL side.

Rivers United, Enyimba and Lobi Stars are reportedly interested in Uko.

The midfielder featured three times for the Golden Eagles in 2015.
