U-20 AFCON: Zambia’s Chipolopolo arrive Abuja for Flying Eagles friendly

Zambia’s U-20 side, the Young Chipolopolo, arrived Abuja on Thursday afternoon for their friendly against the Flying Eagles.

Twenty three players including technical crew members and top officials of the Zambia Football Association arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport around 3 pm.

The friendly will hold at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Friday.

Both teams are using the friendly as part of their preparations for the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations billed for this month.

The Young Chipolopolo have another friendly lined up against Senegal in Dakar next week Wednesday.

It will be the Flying Eagles’ final friendly before they travel to Morocco for a training tour on February 8.

The 2023 U-20 AFCON will take place in Egypt from February 19 to March 11.
