Turkish club, Adana Demirspor aiming to sign Onyekuru permanently

Adana Demirspor manager, Vincenzo Montella is keen to sign Nigeria forward, Henry Onyekuru on a permanent transfer.

Onyekuru linked up with the Turkish Super Lig outfit on a season-long loan deal from the Greek Super League club, Olympiacos this summer.

The 25-year-old has impressed Montella having scored three goals and recorded two assists in 11 league appearances.

According to the Turkish news hub, Aksam, Adana Demirspor will soon start transfer talks with Olympiacos with a view to signing the versatile striker on a permanent deal at the end of the season.

Montella’s side will hope a €4m fee will be enough to convince Olympiacos to sell the former Anderlecht player.

Olympiacos paid €4.5m to sign Onyekuru from Ligue 1 club, AS Monaco last year.
