Tribunal victory; Kogi Forum of HoDs of Education and Social Services congratulates Governor Ododo

The Forum of Heads of Department of Education and Social Services in Kogi state, has congratulated the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo over his tribunal victory.

The group also congratulated the Deputy Governor, Salifu Joel Oyibo over the election petition tribunal victory.

In a statement by the chairperson of the group, Sefiya Orahanoh Abubakar, noted that the tribunal only affirmed the wishes of the people of Kogi State, who voted overwhelmingly for him in the November 11, 2023 governorship election in the state.

The group also salute the courage and sagacity of the former governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello who in his wisdom supported the emergence of Governor Ododo and his support him throughout the entire electioneering process.

She commended stakeholders, particularly the civil servants who filed out in their numbers to cast their votes for him.

According to her, the governor has been up and doing in the areas of security, infrastructural development, healthcare delivery and prompt payment of salaries to workers, particularly in the Local Government.

She called on the people of the state to continue to support the government to continue to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.

The Forum of HoDs were confidant in the ability of Governor Ododo to build on the good legacies of his predecessor, former Governor Yahaya Bello and take the state to greater heights.

The Forum commended the commitment of the Accountant General of the state, Hajia Habibat Onumoko and the Director of Local Government, (DLG), Lokoja, Aliyu Musa Omowa for their contribution to the success of the whole project.

“We want to particularly commend the efforts of our leader, Hajia Habibat Onumoko, who worked day and night with other stakeholders to actualize the Governor Ododo governorship project. May God continue to bless her.

“The Governor has been doing very well in infrastructure, quality Healthcare delivery, prompt payment of salaries and completion of all ongoing Projects.

“We are very confident that he will take the state to greater heights. We assured the Governor of our maximum support and cooperation.
