Tornadoes showed determination in win over Heartland

Niger Tornadoes interim coach, Majin Mohammed, has commended his players for the comeback win against Heartland.

Tornadoes rallied from a goal down to secure a 3-2 win against the visitors at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium on Sunday.

“We feel great, very very great, kudos to the boys, they know what is at stake, that’s why you are seeing this kind of fight from them,” he told the club’s media.

“The two teams are struggling and it’s now survival of the fittest, that is what you’ve seen from the boys.

“Like I always said the boys have realized that we are in danger and the only way to get out of the danger is to wake up.

“Thank God we have succeeded in this one, with the maximum points, we will go back home and prepare for Sunshine Stars.”

The Ikon Allah Boys will face Sunshine Stars next in the league.
