Todd Boehly to offload three Chelsea’s high profile underperforming stars

Chelsea co-owner, Todd Boehly is ready to support manager Graham Potter and sanction a clear-out of the Blues’ three high-profile underperforming players.

Chelsea’s Premier League 2-1 loss to Fulham means Potter’s men have won just two of their last ten matches in all competitions and are languishing in mid-table.

Angry supporters were for the second game in succession, heard chanting for the club’s former owner Roman Abramovich and former manager Thomas Tuchl, but Boehly maintains faith in Potter, who he chose to succeed the German.

Boehly has already signed the likes of David Fofana, Andrey Santos, Benoit Badiashile and Joao Felix this January transfer window, and Chelsea are in talks with PSV over the potential £30million transfer of Noni Madueke.

The American tycoon is keen to deliver a young, motivated squad which will provide Potter with the chance to build a last dynasty at the west London club, but the next stage of a seismic overhaul will involve shifting expensive players who are underperforming.

To that end, Chelsea will consider offers for the likes of Kai Havertz, Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech, who cost a combined total of nearly £200million, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang faces an uncertain future after he was left on the bench against Fulham, Metro UK reports.
