Tinubu signs bill establishing North Central Development Commission

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially signed a bill to create the North-Central Development Commission (NCDC), aimed at addressing developmental challenges and boosting economic growth in the region.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio made the announcement during Tuesday’s plenary session, confirming the bill’s approval.

The NCDC is expected to focus on reconstruction, rehabilitation, and infrastructure development in North-Central Nigeria, ensuring economic revitalization and sustainable progress.

President Tinubu had earlier created the South East Development Commission and the North West Development Commission.
