President Bola Tinubu has granted access to China to establish electric car manufacturing factories in Nigeria.

This was disclosed by Olusegub Dada, the special assistant to President Tinubu on social media.

Dada, in a post made on X, said Chinese businesses have been persuaded to establish a full-cycle investment in the automobile industry.

The post was accompanied by a video of the Minister of Finance on the authorisation granted to China by the president.

He wrote, “President Tinubu’s administration has granted authority for China to develop electric car manufacturing factories in Nigeria.

“The Chinese businesses have been persuaded to make full-cycle investments in Nigeria, from extraction to processing,” Dada stated.
