The presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu on Thursday congratulated Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State who on Thursday clocked 63 years old.
A statement by Abdulaziz Abdulaziz, media assistant to Tinubu, noted that El-Rufai has exhibited a high level of competence in the various public offices he has held and described him as a committed public servant.
The APC presidential candidate also described el-Rufai as “a strong-willed man who gives his all to any cause he believes in.”
Nasir el-Rufai, the presidential candidate added, has admirably moved from an “accidental public servant” to a well-accomplished one whose achievements are admired by both friends and foes.
As a politician and patriot, Bola Ahmed Tinubu explained that Mallam El-Rufai had played vital roles at different junctures of the country’s recent political developments, especially in the events leading to the formation of the party, the All Progressives Congress.
According to Tinubu: “He has continued to make useful contributions within the party and our campaign to achieve victory in the coming election so that we can give our people renewed hope in a better, stronger and more prosperous Nigeria.”
Tinubu prayed for more wisdom and good health for el-Rufai to enable him to offer more to the development of the people of Kaduna State and Nigeria.
