Bola Tinubu has arrived in Birnin Kebbi, the capital of Kebbi State, where he inaugurated the state secretariat.
The president also commissioned an ultra-modern motor park in Birnin Kebbi and is expected to proceed to the fishing arena shortly.
Among dignitaries present are governors from Sokoto State and other states, who will accompany him to the venue to formally declare the international fishing festival open.
Meanwhile, the fishing arena is already filled with enthusiastic spectators, as well as foreign journalists from China, India, and several West African media organisations.
