Thibaut Courtois reveals advantage Real Madrid have over Man City in second leg

Real Madrid goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, has revealed that his team’s experience of winning finals could give them the advantage over Manchester City when both sides clash in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final next Wednesday.

Man City will next Wednesday night host Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final second-leg tie at the Etihad Stadium.

Both teams had drawn 1-1 in the first leg at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night, thanks to goals from Vinicius and Kevin De Bruyne.

Speaking with BT Sport, Courtois said, “It was a good game from both sides.

“It was a good draw and everything to play for.

“It [second leg] will be like a final. I hope we can put that in our minds although it is away, but I think we are quite good at winning finals, so I hope we can mentalise it like this, even though it is in City.”
