Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has left for the country after an 18-day official visit to the United Kingdom and the United States.
A Biman Bangladesh Airlines VVIP chartered flight carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage left the US at 6 pm local time on Sunday.
Ambassador of the United States in Washington Mohammad Imran, Representative of the United Nations Permanent Mission Mohammad Abdul Muhith bid farewell to the Prime Minister. At that time, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam and senior officials were present at Dallas Airport.
Sheikh Hasina will stop in London on her way back home. From there, he is scheduled to reach Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) International Airport on Monday night.
The Prime Minister went to London on an official visit on September 15, originally to attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II and the inauguration of King Charles III. After that, on September 19, he left London for New York, USA.
During her stay in New York, Sheikh Hasina addressed the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly on September 23. Apart from this, he participated in various events of the United Nations General Assembly.
