Supreme Court Sacks Abure as Labour Party National Chairman

The Supreme Court has removed Julius Abure as the national chairman of the Labour Party.

In a decision made on Friday, a five-member panel of the Supreme Court said the Court of Appeal in Abuja lacked the jurisdiction to confirm Abure as the party’s leader.

The judges said that the case was about party leadership, which is an internal matter.
