Supercomputer makes final top four prediction

A supercomputer has made the final prediction on teams that would finish within the top four of the Premier League this season.

FiveThirtyEight supercomputer says that Liverpool will finish in their current 5th position behind Manchester United this campaign.

Liverpool started the season poorly but have won all of their last seven games in the league, putting them right in the mix for a top-four spot.

Pundits such as former Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand had predicted that Jurgen Klopp’s Reds would sneak into the top four of the league this season but the supercomputer has predicted otherwise.

The Reds are currently fifth, one point behind fourth-placed Erik ten Hag’s men, who also have a game in hand. Newcastle, meanwhile, are third, four points above them.

The FiveThirtyEight supercomputer predicted that Manchester United would finish third with 72 points, Newcastle fourth with 71 points, and Liverpool fifth with 69 points.

It said that Klopp’s side would win one and draw one of their remaining two games against Aston Villa and Southampton.

As per the supercomputer, Brighton and Tottenham will finish sixth and seventh with 64 and 60 points respectively.
