Super Eagles defender Sanusi to miss Porto vs Vizela cup clash

Nigeria defender, Zaidu Sanusi has been ruled out of FC Porto’s Portuguese League Cup clash against Futebol Clube de Vizela.

The encounter is billed for Porto’s home ground, Estadio do Dragao on Friday.

Sanusi sustained an abductor injury in Porto’s UEFA Champions League home clash against La Liga club, Atletico Madrid on November 1.

The 25-year-old has missed Porto’s last five games against Pacos Ferriera, Mafra, Boavista, and Chaves as a result of the injury.

Portuguese news hub, Record.pt has now reported that Sanusi is still not fully fit and will play no part against Vizela.

The left-back is expected to be fit when Porto return to action in the league after the international break on December 28.
