State Assembly crises can plunge Abia into confusion – Ikpeazu warns lawmakers

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has cautioned members of the State House of Assembly against plunging the State into confusion and instability.

Ikpeazu stated this in reaction to the failed impeachment of the Speaker of the State House, Chinedum Orji.

The Governor who spoke through his Chief Press Secretary, Onyebuchi Ememanka advised the legislators to operate with patriotism.

He advised that the state be spared every distraction and confusion, less than a month before the exit of present administrators.

He further promised to mediate the crises soon in the state Assembly and restore lasting peace.
