Real Madrid defender, Dani Carvajal, has sent a strong message to Paris Saint-Germain forward, Kylian Mbappe, telling the France international that there are some trains that only pass once.
Carvajal said this while reacting to Mbappe’s Real Madrid snub.
Recall that Mbappe shunned a move to Real Madrid, deciding to stay at PSG, a decision that left a salty taste in the mouths of many in Los Blancos.
Mbappe had looked set to join Real Madrid this summer when his contract with PSG expired.
But the 23-year-old decided to stay at PSG, signing a new three-year deal a few days ago.
His new contract at PSG will keep him at Le Parc des Princes until 2025.
However, Carvajal was not happy with Mbapp’s decision but insisted that he is France’s best player, adding that it would be difficult for him to get out of his comfort zone.
“You have to be in his head. He is French and from Paris. He is playing for PSG, he is the best player for his country, and it must be very difficult to get out of that comfort zone,” Carvajal told ABC.
“But I insist, there are trains that only pass once and [Real] Madrid is above any player.”
