Shooting Stars will entertain Plateau United in their opening fixture of the season at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan on Saturday.
The Ibadan club had a near perfect preparation for the new season, winning the ValueJet tournament and making it to the semi-finals of the Optimal energy tournament.
The former NPFL champions managed to escape relegation last season.
