Shooting Stars boss targets top-three finish

Shooting Stars chairman, Babatunde Olaniyan believes the team can earn a top-three finish in Group A of the Nigeria Professional Football League.

The Oluyole Warriors are unbeaten in their last two games and chasing a place in the Super Six.

The Ibadan club will face Remo Stars in the South West derby at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan this weekend.

Olaniyan charges the fans to come out en masse to support the team.

“I want to appeal to our fans to come out in large numbers to cheer us to victory on Sunday and we promise to give them the desired result”.Olaniyan stated.

“We are not losing hope as far as picking a continental ticket is concerned. Finishing in the top three is still very much possible. We are on course and I’m sure we will make it.”

Shooting Stars is currently in sixth position on the Group A table.
